At Give 5 To Cancer we have been lucky to volunteer, organize & sponsor many local events that support our cancer cause. Below are some of highlights from those events and links so you can get involved today!
Each year our team volunteers at this wonderful event in the fall. From helping with setup to running the kids games & cleanup. It's a wonderful weekend for the family to get out and enjoy the fall weather. All proceeds go to support The Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation.
Every year our creative team of ladies in the office gets together and designs a one-of-a-kind bra to auction. Over the past 3 years our bras have raised over $5K in donations to this amazing event!
The inspiration-al story behind this event began in 2003 when Melissa Balkowitsch was diag-nosed with breast cancer. Missy under-went surgery and years of treatment in her battle with cancer. Watching some-one you love battle this disease on a dai-ly basis leaves you with a feeling of help-lessness. This golf tournament is our way to help others with their battle with breast cancer; to let them know that they are not alone and we will do what-ever it takes to help them overcome and defeat this terrible disease.
Give 5 To Cancer Sponsored Softball Team
Our team has been together over 15 years now! Each year we participate in the McQuade's Charity Softball Tournament, as well as playing in the breast cancer game each Saturday night during the event. This event is a great time to raise awareness and get together with friends and family and participate in the largest softball tournament in the world.
1st Annual Connie Wolf Charity Softball Game
We sold over 500 pink hands throughout the Bismarck/Mandan area with support from Dakota Community Bank. All donations supported the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation.
Give 5 To Cancer Ladies Bowling Team
There isn't much to say about these ladies except for "nice strike" The proudly rock the pink on the lanes and strike fear into the competition!
