HOW TO DETERMINE WHICH READING STRENGTH IS RIGHT FOR YOU: All you need to do is Right Click on the above image and click to view image, or save it to your computer's hard drive. Then print out the eye chart. Make sure you print it in its real, original size. The final printed chart should be 5 inches wide. Once you have printed out the chart, just follow these instructions:If you are wearing readers, you need to take them off for the test. Note for READING OVER CONTACT LENS WEARERS - If you wear Distance Vision ONLY contact lenses and need reading glasses, you can use these charts, just make sure you are wearing your contactINSTRUCTIONS: Reading Glasses Strength For Up-Close Vision (approx. 12-14 inches away) 1. The first line you have difficulty with is the power of lens you need. If you are in the +3.00 and up range, I reccommend choosing the next power lower than you think you might need. For example, if you have problems seeing the +4.00 line but are 'kind of' comfortable with the +3.25 line choose +3.50 as your power.
